FeFe, Minerva, and Garcia are all fans of this aquatic hue for July. “Perfectly capturing the essence of water, bubbles, and everything poolside, baby blue just makes you wanna book that vacation,” says FeFe. Garcia also feels the OoO vibes from this one: “Baby blue has a really calm and relaxing effect perfect for July vacation,” she says.

Butter Yellow

The butter-yellow mani trend that dominated our feeds this spring is still going strong this summer. Garcia loves how it can “really inspire good energy and happiness,” while Basurto recommends the shade to those seeking a trendy yet understated look. And, as Minerva tells us, it also works wonderfully in nail art: “Whether I’m using it as the base color or incorporating it into designs like fruit nails, it always looks amazing,” she says. Pro tip: Add a layer of chrome to give it an extra pop and enhance its sunny appeal.

Hot Pinks and Fuchsia

We might be a year removed from Barbenheimer, but shades of bright, hot pink are still among July’s go-tos thanks to their high-energy vibes. “These vibrant hues perfectly match the lively atmosphere of summer, standing out beautifully against sun-kissed skin and complementing any outfit,” says Basurto. They’re also a great choice because they “complement many skin tones” she adds, making them highly versatile. Minerva loves incorporating fuchsia into her summer nail art, describing it as “the perfect bold, feminine color.”

Bratty Lime

Just like the fruit after which it is named, lime green is a refreshing summer color choice. (Not to mention it’s very Brat indeed.) “It’s the perfect way to match your nails to your cocktail by the pool,” says FeFe. “It’s so fitting for a summer day.” Garcia also recommends it for those who want to stand out; pair it with a fun outfit for summer outings.
