Three cities down, one to go – it’s Paris Fashion Week! For the Fall 2024 season, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has quite the jam-packed calendar for us to salivate over, running February 26-March 5.
Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Christian Dior will kick-start the French fashion festivities into high-gear on Tuesday, in addition to Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent extravaganza later in the evening which will no doubt be one of the standout spectacles of the season. Courrèges, Rochas, The Row, Undercover, Dries Van Noten, Acne Studios and Balmain will show on Wednesday and the highlight of Thursday will finally bestow upon us Chemena Kamali‘s highly-anticipated debut as Chloé’s creative director.
Friday will see Loewe, Issey Miyake, Giambattisa Valli, Nina Ricci, Yohji Yamamoto and Victoria Beckham present, in addition to hosting Vetements’ grand return to the PFW schedule. The weekend will commence with shows from Vivienne Westwood, Hermès, Elie Saab, Ann Demeulemeester. Saturday evening will grant us Seán McGirr‘s first Alexander McQueen collection – and the suspense is mounting. Sunday surely packs a punch with shows from Balenciaga, Valentino and Mugler.
Stella McCartney is tasked with starting off a new week on March 4, joining the likes of Marine Serre, Sacai and Coperni on Monday’s slot. As always, it’ll be a #ChanelTuesday affair on the final day of events. Tuesday will also see Lacoste’s return to the PFW calendar. Miuccia Prada’s Miu Miu will also take place and it’ll be Nicolas Ghesquière’s buzz-worthy affair at Louis Vuitton officially rounding out the Paris Fashion Week festivities. To say we’re sat ready and waiting would be an understatement.
