Lindsay Lohan’s New “Churro Hair” Is the Prettiest Late Summer Color Change

The movie star is officially reclaiming her spot as an icon in both pop culture and beauty. Throughout her career, Lohan has experimented with her signature red hair—sometimes it leans auburn orange, other times it’s more strawberry blonde, and who could forget her platinum era.

Her latest color transformation is a dimensional cinnamon shade featuring intricate blonde highlights. Her hairstylist, Dimitris Ginannetos, who is also Megan Fox and Rita Ora’s go-to colorist, coined Lohan’s marriage of reddish brown and blonde as “churro hair”—a nod to the dessert’s golden brown color and cinnamon sugar coating.

As Lohan continues to embark on what feels like a new era of her career, the churro hair is on brand, and the Mean Girls alum made the color and style look totally effortless. Giannetos gave Lohan long, textured, intentionally-frizzy waves.
