Speaking of, Hailey Bieber’s latest manicure gives the shade a new life, with the unexpected stamp of approval from Justin Bieber himself.

On Friday, August 16, Bieber’s new manicure was front and center on Rhode’s Instagram in a chic, quintessential HB mirror selfie. The Rhode founder posed with the brand’s Lip Tint and phone case in Peach Pit, with her hair slicked back in a clip. Her go-to manicurist, Zola Ganzorigt, re-posted the photos on her story, captioning it “Hubbies request, milky white.”

Milky manicures have had their moment this summer (with everyone from Anne Hathaway to Rihanna donning the trend) but have yet to earn the stamp of approval from the manicure muse herself—until now. Where the 27-year-old typically opts for shimmery chromes and more recently, hand-painted styles, we’re sure her post is bound to re-ignite the flame for the polished, your-nails-but-better look.

As to why Justin requested the manicure? We can only guess he was charmed by the nail trends’ sophisticated and easy allure. It’s the ideal low-key manicure—Ganzorigt revealed the process of creating the nails was a breeze, too. On her Instagram story, she noted that the sheer white color was the result of two coats of OPI’s Funny Bunny.

Perhaps Justin is the mastermind behind all of Hailey’s best manicure looks after all. With fall and red carpet season around the corner, Bieber’s co-sign ensures a milky manicure renaissance on the horizon.
