Bella Hadid’s Black Rose Manicure Is a Late Summer Dream

The launch party for Bella Hadid’s new Orebella fragrance was about as Bella Hadid-y as you’d expect it to be, and in the best way. Guests sipped on Kin Euophorics, hung out in fairy cottages, and got birth chart readings to celebrate the fourth Orebella fragrance, Night Cap. For the occasion, the founder arrived in a stunning plunging gown, a curly updo, and a dreamy manicure that reflected under the moon.

On, Aug 21, Hadid uploaded videos and photos of the summer celebration to social media, including a TikTok video of herself spritzing on the new perfume and doing the “Apple” dance to Charli XCX’s song. Of course, her unexpected nails caught our eye: She opted for a moody black rose manicure, ushering in the start of fall.

Summer manicure trends are associated with bright shades like pink and orange, but we’ve seen a change this year, with a handful of celebrities like Hadid wearing moody reds and blacks (See: Jenna Ortega’s recent manicure). In the videos, it’s tough to make out exactly what shade her manicure is, although it looks like a dark red, nearly black hue that matches her black V-neck gown. Her nails had a slight sparkle, that we’d wager it’s due to a glossy top coat or just a touch of chrome powder.

Later on in the night, she changed into a baby pink version of the gown that she paired with a vintage gold choker from Calpyso Studios. She tied her hair back into a bouncy curly updo with messy strands that rested on her shoulders that she paired with soft bronzy glam.

The new Nightcap scent is a sultry take on the classic vanilla gourmand scent with notes of ginger and cardamom spice, which explains the nighttime fairy theme of the party. If a spritz and a dark-hued manicure make us feel (and look) as ethereal as Hadid, you can consider us on board.
