Jessica Chastain’s Black Cherry Nails Are a Glamorous Fall Mani

Fashion week is underway in Milan which means we can expect a handful of chic fashion and beauty moments to come rolling in daily. The Gucci Spring/Summer 2025 runway show took centerstage today with stylish guests like Dakota Johnson, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Jessica Chastain making an appearance. While Johnson opted for a sheer gown and minimalist manicure, Chastain took inspiration from classic glamour.

For the occasion, Chastain opted for a daisy-printed off-the-shoulder midi-dress paired with large oversized sunnies and a black Gucci Jackie bag. Her ensemble perfectly represented the brand’s play between minimalism and maximalism. Speaking of, her simple but polished manicure featured the brand’s new signature shade of red.

Sabato de Sarno, Gucci’s creative director, introduced the deep red “Rosso Ancora” color as part of his debut collection for the brand. Chastain’s nail look embodied the shade perfectly. She opted for a medium-length almond, which was the perfect classic shape for the color. The deep cherry red polish had an extra glossy sheen. She topped the nail look with lots of diamond rings for extra sparkle.

ICYMI: red nails, among other classic polish shades, are having a moment. Everyone from Selena Gomez to Jenna Ortega has tried on a version of the shade, proof that even the simplest of styles can still feel interesting with some personal flair. With her latest manicure, Chastain is keeping the streak going.

It’s tough to tell exactly what Chastain’s makeup was since her oversized sunglasses covered most of her face. Still, we can imagine she wore a touch of rosy pink blush to match her lipstick with fluffy lashes and a glowy complexion. Like her nails, her hair also seemed inspired by Old Hollywood glamour, and she opted for a deep side part and fluffy curls.
