Taylor Swift’s Fall Outfit Formula Includes a Preppy Plaid Skirt

Despite the fact that I graduated from college years ago, September still never fails to give me that nostalgic back-to-school feeling. And based on the outfit Taylor Swift recently wore in New York City last week, the “Fortnight” singer seems to be on the same page. While heading to dinner with bestie Gigi Hadid, Swift was photographed wearing a preppy plaid skirt.

Channeling a grown-up take on a school uniform, Swift paired her reddish-brown and gray pleated mini with a cropped Vivienne Westwood sweater, towering platform boots, and an army green trench coat. The pop star’s exact skirt, the Ramy Brook Derrick Pleated Belted Mini Skirt, is currently only available for pre-order and is expected to ship in late November.
