Angelina Jolie’s New Caramel Blonde Is the Prettiest End of Summer Hair Inspo

The Venice Film Festival is here to spice up our end-of-summer blues, and we’re anticipating a star-studded carpet full of stunning fashion and beauty moments. Angelina Jolie arrived at the festival yesterday, Aug 26, in a casual minimalist outfit and surprised us (already!) with a slight hair change ahead of the festival.

Her hair transformation isn’t dramatic by any means, but we noticed it right away. Jolie went blonde for the first time since the ’90s last summer, but since then, the actor has been wearing a darker shade of bronde with brown roots. However, at the festival, her strands are much lighter, creating a pretty light caramel shade.

For her arrival, it looked as though Jolie styled her hair naturally, letting it air-dry into a slightly wavy pattern. She parted her hair to the left side with lighter blonde strands towards the front of her face, blending into a mixture of blondes, caramels, and browns. She still kept her shadowy bronde roots, although they are softer and are mixed with lighter highlights. Jolie likes what she likes on the carpet and typically sticks to a bouncy blowout, but perhaps her low-key hair signals a fresh new era for the actor.

Although large black sunnies covered her face, what we could see of her glam looked radiant and pared-back. She had a glowing complexion that was noticeable even with her sunglasses and wore what looks like the tiniest bit of lip balm.

Her arrival look was composed of fall staples like a Christian Dior trench coat with folded sleeves that she layered over a white tank top and a silky black skirt. She finished the look with chic black boots.

The summer of blonde isn’t over yet, at least if Jolie has anything to do with it.
