Bella Hadid’s Ôrebella Just Launched the “Grown-Up Vanilla” Fragrance of Our Dreams

When Bella Hadid launched her fragrance brand, ‘Ôrəbella, back in April, she hinted there were more surprises to come down the line. And… surprise! The first sweet (but not too sweet) addition has finally been revealed.

On August 19, the newest ‘Ôrəbella scent—the sweet and sultry Nightcap—is officially joining her three lovely sisters after plenty of teasing. (Did you see that star emoji-covered bottle in Hadid’s last Instagram post? So sneaky.) A twist on traditional vanilla, Nightcap features notes of spice and really everything nice to create a scent that’ll “transform your confidence into undeniable magnetism.”

Ahead, everything to know about the launch. Should we throw a party to celebrate? Yes. Should we invite Bella Hadid? Of course! Especially considering how good this launch sounds.

The Inspiration

According to ‘Ôrəbella, Nightcap was inspired by Hadid’s dream of a “grown up vanilla” scent. With top notes of ginger, cardamom spice, and guaiacwood (perhaps more commonly known as Palo Santo), middle notes of vanilla and cistus (a rich, warm flowering plant found throughout the Mediterranean), and base notes of sandalwood and patchouli, it’s “a warm and spicy aroma that exudes sensuality and mysticism.”

Alongside the fragrance, we’re also getting a new gold travel case for the 10mL bottle, so you can secure your precious mini anywhere in the world you go (and keep it from breaking when jostled alongside all the real crystals in your purse?).

The Formula

Like all other ‘Ôrəbella scents, Nightcap is alcohol-free, dermatologist tested, suitable for sensitive skin, and formulated with the brand’s signature bi-phase, shake-to-activate formula.

Meant to nurture the skin and enhance the scent’s longevity and potency, the first phase features the proprietary ‘Ôrelixer base, which is made of snow mushroom and a blend featuring five of our favorite oils: camellia, almond, olive, jojoba, and shea. The second layer is where things get more specific; this particular scent features elevating essential oils including earthy patchouli (to “aid in grounding and balancing emotions”), cistus (“used for centuries during meditation, its musky nuances open the third eye and promote introspection”), and sweet, woody copaiba (“a natural aphrodisiac that helps set the mood with its resinous fragrance”).

“I really want people to feel the most unique parts about themselves when they wear ‘Ôrəbella so that they can walk into the street and feel confident and excited about themselves,” Hadid previously told Byrdie. Vanilla lovers, it’s time to strut your stuff.
