Ever since becoming the first female creative director of Christian Dior in 2016, Maria Grazia Chiuri has non-stop commissioned female photographers for the brand’s advertising campaigns. The Italian designer first called upon Brigitte Lacombe. Paola Mattioli, Alice Mann, Brigitte Niedermair and (more recently) Collier Schorr have captured fashion imagery for the fabled French fashion house. The unveiling of the Fall 2024 advertising campaign sees Maria Grazia Chiuri welcoming Sarah Jones as campaign photographer. The British visual artist captures models Elodie Guipaud, Matilde de Nard, Nayonikaa Shetty, and Ying Ouyang around a set of plus interiors throughout the storied campaign imagery.

“I’m wondering how people can be paid to come up with that amount of sh*t,” exclaimed a far from impressed thiago the moment the campaign struck.
“This might be one of her worst campaigns,” Creative added.
Frederic01 wasn’t convinced by the casting. “I don’t understand how Dior went from using big stars in their campaigns, to using groups of generic no-name models?”
They look like Sims characters waiting for a command in most of the images,” chimed in squilliam.
GivenchyHomme said: “They look like lifeless mannequins in a store window!”
“This is so unappealing,” disapproved Sweet rus.
“I thought I couldn’t hate MGC’s collections anymore. Then, this campaign dropped and proved me wrong,” shared forum member jeremydante.
