Dua Lipa’s Red French Tips Are the Perfect End of Summer Manicure

Forget a beauty routine, I want Dua Lipa’s vacation routine. Famously, when the singer isn’t performing she’s lounging on luxurious beach getaways and posting an aesthetic photo dump about it later (as she should). Her latest post includes snaps of her new manicure which put a twist on the red nail trend.

If there’s one thing Lipa’s going to have on vacation it’s a great outfit and an even better manicure, and her latest trip is no exception. On Aug 25, the singer posted a handful of photos to Instagram with the caption “Never not having fun.” The third slide embodies the caption’s energy perfectly: she’s holding a bottle of wine and cards with her dreamy summer manicure on display.

The 29-year-old is always switching up her nail designs, and her latest combines two of summer’s biggest manicure trends: red nails and French manicures. If you’ve missed it, just about every celebrity has put their twist on a classic red manicure this summer, now including Lipa. She styled a French design on almond-shaped nails, but instead of white tips, opted for a chic croc-effect pattern on a red base. The red tips have creamy white blobs to create the textured croc look.

Her nails added a pop of red to her otherwise neutral beach outfit, and we’ll be copying the entire look through the rest of the summer season. She paired her nails with a breezy linen button-up (that had her initials embroidered in the pocket) and denim shorts for a simple and effective summer ensemble.

Throughout the slideshow, Lipa is wearing minimal makeup, with pops of blush on her cheeks and fluffy brows with her hair worn down or thrown up in an easy ponytail—the ideal summer vacation beauty regime.
