Emily Ratajkowski Tried an Artsy Bob for Summer

If we could use one word to describe Emily Ratajkowski it would be cool. The multi-hyphenate has developed a quirky, New York-inspired style that’s uniquely hers. Ratajkowski is a trendsetter through and through—she kickstarted the “divorce ring,” and helped the naked dress return to the red carpet. But, her latest look might be her most bold and Pinterest board-worthy yet. We’ll give you a hint: Her hair transformation starts with a “B.”

While filming her new Netflix romcom series Too Much in New York on June 3, the 32-year-old debuted a new hairstyle for the show. She wore an artsy, wavy bob with straight-across bangs, adding her to the list of celebrities who have debuted the style this year.

Her bob is giving Williamsburg gallerist who wears D.S. & Durga perfume and stalks the Ssense sale like it’s her job. Ratajkowski’s bonafide cool-girl hairstyle sits right at her jawline and is styled with soft, laidback waves. The bangs give the hairstyle an artsy feel, and the choppy pieces sit right on her eyebrows. The cut (which we’d bet is a wig) is a big change from her signature long brown hair, but she wears the shorter style so well.

For filming, she wore the bob with a cropped knitted furry green vest layered over a black sheer cropped T-shirt styled with long jean shorts. The final touch to her quirky outfit was her ballerina sneakers and sporty orange sunglasses.

The show, Too Much, is Lena Dunaham’s latest project which follows a woman who leaves her job in New York for a new role in London. Of course, Dunham knows her way around a fun story but, Ratajkowski’s chic bob has us anticipating the great style and beauty looks to come from the show.
