Hailey Bieber’s New Caramel Blonde Is the Perfect Fall Refresh

It’s (finally) officially fall which calls for shifting our beauty routines accordingly. And this year, that apparently means making a big hair change, as celebs are opting for brand-new cuts and colors as the temp starts to dip. Although it’s typical to lean into dark tones for the cooler months, it seems as though everyone is doing the opposite, including Hailey Bieber.

A few weeks ago, Bieber’s bestie, Kendall Jenner, opted to swap her dark brown color for a bright ’90s blonde shade. And on September 29, the Rhode founder posted a selfie to her Instagram story donning a new bright caramel shade. And with it, a new hair color trend was born.

“Lighter for fall,” Bieber captioned the selfie which included her signature nude glossy lip, fluffy brows, and glowing, flushed skin. Her hair was styled down and looked like it had just gotten a fresh cut, color, and blowout. The color looked like the perfect fall blonde hue, with darker roots that blended into light a warm caramel shade. Flecks of lighter honey hues framed her face and brightened up the rest of her strands. It’s a subtle change from her usual light brown, but is the perfect switch up for the new season.

In the selfie, the 27-year-old is wearing a grey t-shirt, her bubble diamond encrusted “B” necklace, and a pair of tortoiseshell glasses—the perfect simple outfit that still reads as very Bieber-coded.

If only we could be a fly on the wall for Jenner and Bieber’s texts. Did they plan on going blonde at the same time, or was it merely a coincidence? We’ll never know, but it is interesting that the new brigade of blondes also includes Beyoncé, who went “teddy bear” blonde, and then icy platinum for a cool curved bob.
