Jennifer Lopez’s Color Wow Volumizer Gives My Fine Hair Volume

Not to be dramatic, but I’ve been on a lifelong mission to find the hair products that will give my fine hair the bouncy volume it deserves. A good hair day perks up my mood and gives me a nudge of self-confidence that rivals my favorite lip gloss (Dior’s Lip Glow Oil, to be exact). I’ve tried gels, mousses, creams, powders, and sprays to trick my fine hair into thinking it’s full and voluminous, but they’ve all fallen flat—literally. That is, until I discovered the Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer.

According to my hairstylist, I actually have a lot of hair—it’s just fine and stick-straight. It has a little texture (not enough to qualify as wavy, but just enough to make frizz an issue), which is why I need a volumizing product that controls frizz and adds shine without weighing my hair down. The key to the Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer is using enough and combing it through to evenly disperse it throughout your hair. After shampooing my hair, I brush it, turn my head upside down, and apply several pumps to the roots, then apply a couple more pumps to the rest of my hair. After applying the volumizer, I brush out my hair, dry it with a hair dryer, and style with a curling iron, finishing with a spritz of hairspray. (This formula also doubles as a heat protectant, so it saves you a step and keeps your hair healthy.) 

On day two, my hair has the same bounce; however, I do have to curl it again since it starts to revert back to its natural straight texture. I usually wait until day three to wash my hair and, thanks to this product, it stays volumized until then. With such successful results, it should come as no surprise that the Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer also has a celebrity following.
