Kylie Jenner’s Summer Manicure Is all About Flower Power

Intricate, hand-painted nail designs might be the most unexpected manicure trend so far this year. From Hailey Bieber’s farmers’ market nails, which featured detailed fruits and veggies, to Kylie Jenner’s summer garden manicure, which had portraits of tiny little bugs painted on her nails, it doesn’t seem like the trend is letting up anytime soon. Case in point: Kylie Jenner’s latest manicure, which put an artsy twist on the classic floral mani.

ICYMI: All of Jenner’s and Bieber’s recent detailed manicures are created by Zola Ganzorigt, who was also behind the 26-year-old’s latest look. Jenner posted the new nails to her Instagram story yesterday, July 12, with the caption, “Back in my fun nails era.” Each nail had a pink-toned base and was painted with a single colorful flower.

Jenner isn’t the first to wear a floral-inspired manicure this summer. Bieber opted for dainty floral nails for her trip to Japan, Saweetie styled an intricate 3D floral manicure, and Rita Ora opted for an ethereal chrome floral manicure. Jenner’s new nails leaned on the simple side: Crafted on medium-length almond-shaped nails, Ganzorigt started with a nude shade that duplicated Jenner’s natural nail color but hid any perfections. After that, she painted a daisy-esque flower on each nail with different color combinations and in different parts of the nail. Some had flowers on the tips, whereas others bloomed out of the corners.

Getting Jenner’s nails at home doesn’t require as much artistry as you’d think. Thanks to natural-looking press-on styles, intricate floral nails are just a bottle of nail glue and some press-ons away.
