Lauren Hutton Saint Laurent Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Anthony Vaccarello struck gold when he decided to cast a whole multitude of living legends to be faces and embodiment of his vision for Saint Laurent. Betty Catroux, Al Pacino, Jerry Hall and Catherine Deneuve have all made buzz-worthy appearances in the fabled French fashion house’s advertising campaign imagery, subsequent to the Belgian designer taking up his creative director role back in 2016. The Spring 2024 campaign offering appears to be the gift that keeps on giving. Joining a sensational cast of Diana Ross (no introduction required) and American singer-songwriter Michael Stipe is none other than modeling icon Lauren Hutton. Again, with photography from David Sims, Hutton appears in Sims’ photographic studio against a plain grey backdrop, oozing confidence and radiating nothing but pure joy in the wondrous campaign image.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Brilliant portraits!” heralded Ihhbl.

“Love the one with Lauren Hutton! Great energy and her smile is contagious!” admired GivenchyAddict.

Also very much a fan was vogue28, commenting: “Always a delight to see Lauren Hutton! Might not as much as a surprise as Diana Ross but Hutton is very much-welcomed here. What a gorgeous portrait. I do adore how David Sims manages to capture the true persona is his subjects. Lauren’s campaign image, as simple as it is, is so full of energy and life!”

Not everyone, however, was so forthcoming. “Nice to see Lauren Hutton, but I have the opposite impression. She’s giving that smiley-happy face as she does in all her appearances,” sighed a disapproving dontbeadrag.

“Loving all the legends in the campaign but I wish Lauren Hutton was photographed in a different angle, this makes her legs appear much smaller!” stated Urban Stylin.
