Lily Collins’ Barely-There French Manicure Is So Chic for Fall

Yes, we’ve already watched all of Season 4 of Emily in Paris, and can you blame us? Emily Cooper, her love interests, and quirky fashion choices make for incredible television. In the real world, Lily Collins has French girl style down to a science (Emily’s closet is constantly up for discussion). The actor’s current press circuit in New York is complete with sophisticated ensembles with a chic manicure to match.

From the premiere of the show in Paris to her press event last night, September 18, Collins has been relying on one easygoing yet polished nail design to pair with each of her looks. It’s (you guessed it) the milky French manicure. If you’re reading this, you likely already know about the unfussy nail design and why it’s the number one choice amongst celebrities and the fashion set for events and red-carpet appearances. It looks nice! It goes with everything! And, it’s easy to achieve at home (or if you’re Collins, in between shoots).

Collins’ take on the mani included a barely-there sheer coat of polish that let the whites of her natural nails peek through, creating a faux French design. She styled it with a grey wool Gucci jumpsuit and black knee-high boots.

Throughout her press tour, Collins’ glam has stayed consistent, too. Her less-is-more makeup—including nude lipstick, luminous complexion, and bushy brows—pairs perfectly with her effortlessly swooshy French girl bob.
