Lily Collins Debuted a French Bob at the ‘Emily in Paris’ Premiere

The fourth season of Emily In Paris is back after a long break, which means Lily Collin’s quirky character, Emily, will grace our screens again, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. For the return of the long-awaited show, the actress arrived at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles in a peplum gown (very Emily) and a short French bob.

Tres chic! Quick refresher: Collins’ character Emily is known for her zany on-screen outfits, but the actor’s look was anything but. She paired an elegant black Armani Privé gown with a slightly shorter bob cut.

Earlier in the summer, Collins took the plunge and swapped her long locks for a blunt bob. At the premiere, her hair looked just a tad shorter, resting right at her cheekbone—her hairstylist, Gregory Russell, confirmed they went a little shorter for the occasion. Russell parted her hair straight down the center with choppy layers framing her face. The ends of the bob flipped up just a tad to give the look volume.

Collins collaborated with makeup artist Fiona Stiles for her understated glam using all Merit products. She prepped the skin with the brand’s new Great Skin Priming Moisturizer and followed up with the Great Skin Instant Glow Serum before applying The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick to achieve her glowy complexion. Her less-is-more makeup was defined by a pinch of blush using the Flush Balm Cream Blush and a touch of the Bronze Balm Sheer Bronzer—the statement of her makeup was her defined eyes: “I wanted to add a touch of sexiness to her look by adding a bit of a sultry eye. I created the eye look with just one product, the Solo Shadow Matte Eye Color in Nelson” said Stiles.

To complete the look she complimented the dress and bob with glowing diamond earrings and rings. Emily in couture? We think yes. Consider us seated for this next season.
