Megan Thee Stallion’s Orange Creamsicle Hair Is Perfect for Summer

Since Megan Thee Stallion put “Hot Girl Summer” in the lexicon, everyone’s put their own spin what exactly that means, but it comes down to having a carefree, fun summer filled with vacations, summer flings, and Instagram-worthy outfits. Megan has obviously been embodying this energy throughout her tour style, and her latest hair transformation may be her brightest yet, just in time for the sunny weather.

If you aren’t familiar, the rapper is on par with Rihanna or Cardi B’s hair chameleon status. Throughout the year, Meg has styled a cotton candy bob, blunt coquette bangs, and Old Hollywood waves and yesterday, she debuted her latest hair change on Instagram: a neon orange color with curled bangs and a knotted half-updo.

The 29-year-old’s bold look featured a true orange shade (think Daphne from Scooby Doo) with streaks of softer clementine pieces throughout. She styled her bangs in a dramatic curl that rested just above her eyebrows, and the rest of her hair was pulled back into an intricately knotted updo. Sectioned in three parts, each section had a floral-like knot detailing. The rest of her hair was styled in a blowout and sat on her shoulders. It was her most intricate hairstyle we’ve seen from the star in a minute, and its jaw-dropping details are definitely Hot Girl Summer-approved.

For her glam, Meg let the hair color be the statement, and opted for a softer makeup look. She wore a bronzy eyeshadow look with a smoked out effect paired with fluttery black lashes. Her complexion was radiant with a touch of bronzer sculpting her cheeks. The finishing touch was her brown glossy lip.

Of course, her look wouldn’t be complete without a stunning manicure. On square-shaped nails, Stallion put a bright twist on classic French tips with more neon shades. Her tips were a fluorescent bright green shade (very Brat girl summer) and the base of her nails were painted with a jelly hot pink. Stallion was styled in a two-piece set that featured a colorful retro print on a balconette-style bra and mini-skirt that matched her hair and nails.
