Priyanka Chopra Tried Out Summer’s Wavy Bob Trend

These days, it feels like everyone is cutting a bob for summer. What’s not to love about hitting refresh before the season officially hits with fresh, healthy strands? The bob haircut is more popular than ever and it shows in the A-list set. Just yesterday two stars made their bob debut: Jessica Biel showed off her chop on Instagram, and Priyanka Chopra wore a flippy bob at a Bulgari event.

The actor was joined by Anne Hathway and a bevy of celebrities at an event for the jewelry brand in Rome on May 20. Chopra arrived in a glamorous black-and-white gown (a current big color trend on the red carpet), and aside from her shiny jewels, we couldn’t keep our attention away from her chic, wavy bob.

Chopra’s brown hair rested just above her shoulders and had a natural wavy finish with the ends slightly flipped up. She opted for a voluminous side part that added a sophisticated feel with layers that framed her face. The actor posted a video to her Instagram story showing her getting the cut with the cheeky caption “when the jewels deserve a haircut for a better view.” Her cut was courtesy of stylist Thibaud Salducci

Before the cut, Chopra had a mid-length style, and the shorter bob looks so natural on the star. The rest of the 41-year-old’s glam was just as good as her new cut. She was glowing with peachy blush and sculpted bronze cheeks with a just-bitten lip look.

The Love Again actress’s dress had a peplum top with an off-the-shoulder style and geometric sleeves that melted into a long black skirt. Of course, she was also wearing Blvgari jewels, specifically a stunning diamond necklace—the most expensive in the Blvgari vault.

We too would cut all our hair off if it meant we could wear Bvlgari jewels this gorgeous.
