Sabrina Carpenter Traded Her Bouncy Blowout for Natural Waves on Vacation

Sabrina Carpenter said it best herself: Her give a F’s are on vacation. After a spring of touring, fashion weeks, and red carpets, the singer is finally taking some R&R time, and we couldn’t be happier for her. The key to her vacation style includes letting her stunning natural hair shine (and it’s giving Vacation Barbie energy).

On July 14, the 25-year-old posted a slideshow of photos from her summer vacation to Instagram featuring the star visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris, making homemade pasta, and visiting the Italian countryside. The singer looked laidback and relaxed, with not a bouncy blowout in sight. Instead, she swapped her signature voluminous silhouette for her natural waves.

The Short ‘N Sweet singer is giving serious mermaid energy. In one photo, her blonde hair is tousled with easygoing beachy waves that scream vacation. Her tiny curtain bang pieces were air-dried and sat right at her cheekbones, and her natural curls illuminated the handful of summery blonde tones in her hair. She paired it with a Baywatch-esque red one-piece swimsuit.

In another photo, Carpenter opted for messy coquette-cowgirl braids (the Bella Hadid influence is everywhere), and in another, she’s tied her hair into a side braid. Throughout the slideshow, she’s mostly bare-faced, with a natural flushed sunkissed glow and only the slightest swipe of lip balm. When she is wearing makeup, Carpenter opted for a pared-back version of her signature rosy cheeks with the tiniest hint of blush, a little mascara, and a lip balm.

Of course, like any Carpenter post, fans were quick to compliment the star. “MOTHER” said one commenter, whereas others complimented her natural hair and vacation glow.
