Taylor Swift is not shy about the fact that she’s bejeweled. Throughout the Eras tour, Swift has made the whole place shimmer—literally. Custom looks from Roberto Cavalli and Versace like gemstone-encrusted catsuits and glittery circle skirts have come to embody the tour’s aesthetic. And, while the singer typically keeps her signature glam, she recently opted to add a touch of shimmer to her makeup look, too.
If you’re not yet familiar, Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte were all in attendance at Swift’s London leg of the Eras Tour for a birthday celebration. Swift shared a selfie of the Royal trio joined by Travis Kelce on Instagram with the caption “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start.” In the photo, Swift has a pop of concert-ready sparkle on her eyeliner that we’ll be copying for summer shows.
Of course, Swift kept her signature blonde bangs and bright red lipstick. Her cheeks had the tiniest touch of blush, and highlighter shined on the tops of her cheekbones. She wore a black cat-eye liner and dotted her lash line with tiny little silver gemstones. Lorrie Turk is the artist who has crafted Swift’s tour makeup so far, and we’d wager that she’s responsible for the star’s shimmery eyeliner. The 34-year-old’s bangs covered her eyelid, so it’s tough to tell, but it looks like she’s wearing a pink glittery eyeshadow as well.
Swift recapped the three nights in London on her Instagram. Highlights of the London leg included a surprise performance with Kelce and duets with Gracie Abrams and Hayley Williams. “Wembley Stadium round one was so surreal,” she wrote in the caption. “Those were some of the loudest crowds I’ve ever heard. Acoustic sections went OFF.”
If Swift’s look sparked inspiration, adding a touch of glitter can be a fun way to get into the concert mood, no matter what show you’re at. If you’re headed to Charli XCX’s upcoming tour, opt for Urban Decay’s Moondust Liquid Glitter Eyeliner in Stage Dive, a bright green-teal shade. You can apply it on its own, or add it on top of your solid-colored liner. To achieve Swift’s exact look, you’ll need gemstones—start with Half Magic’s Iridescent Sparkle Self-Adhesive Face Gems and apply them on top of your black eyeliner.
