There’s Finally a Way to Get Tatcha’s Famous Moisturizers for Less

Shoppers, beauty editors, and I agree; Tatcha makes some of the best moisturizers on the market. The Water Cream and Dewy Skin Cream consistently remain among the best-selling moisturizers at Sephora, and I’ve been using (and repurchasing) each of them for years. While my skin thanks me whenever I re-up on these delightful creams, my wallet doesn’t—these luxe goodies come with a luxury price tag. Needless to say, I was thrilled to learn that after countless consumer requests for the brand to come out with refills, they finally have.

You can now purchase refills of both moisturizers, saving you $10 and allowing your beauty routine to be more eco-conscious. The refills contain 57% less plastic than the original jar. The refillable moisturizer and refill pod are sold separately, but you can also purchase a set that contains the original moisturizer plus a refill. Keep reading to learn more about what makes these formulas stand out and which one is best for you.

If you’re like me and the hot, humid summer months make it nearly impossible to tame excess oil on your skin, I highly recommend The Water Cream. It’s an excellent moisturizer for oily skin because it contains Japanese wild rose, which the brand says helps to visibly tighten the pores. It’s also formulated with the Tatcha’s signature Hadasei-3 complex, which is made from fermented rice, green tea, and algae, the same superfoods that are staples in the traditional Japanese diet. Together, these ingredients work to plump the skin while supporting a healthy skin barrier.

I can attest to the results; after using it consistently, I’ve found that the enlarged pores around my nose look less pronounced and my skin feels nourished. It’s also formulated with glycerin to keep your skin hydrated, though it never feels heavy or greasy. I love that it has a water-burst texture—it starts off like a fluffy cream and then breaks as you rub it into your skin, leaving behind a weightless veil of hydration that feels so refreshing. The formula provides sufficient moisture, ensuring my skin looks and feels healthy, but it never feels like too much, which is a must for me in this dreadful heatwave.

The Dewy Skin Cream, Refillable

People with dry skin or an affinity for a glowy complexion would be remiss not to have a jar of this luxurious cream in their beauty stash. It combines hyaluronic acid, red algae, biomimetic squalane, and Japanese purple rice to deeply hydrate, plump, and support the skin’s protective barrier. And of course, it also contains the beloved Hadasei-3 complex. It instantly quenches parched skin as you apply it, and once it fully absorbs, it leaves your complexion with a stunning radiance.

Despite having oily skin, I always make sure to have this moisturizer in my rotation. While it’s a bit too rich for me during the warm months, I absolutely love using it during the cooler seasons when my skin feels dry or lacks radiance. It’s great for no-makeup makeup days when you want a low-maintenance product that offers moisture and a serious glow.

These creams are Tatcha’s hero products and staples in my personal collection, but the brand has even more products I reach for consistently. From a nighttime treatment cream that gives me my best skin ever to a creamy face wash I refuse to be without, below are more products from Tatcha I can’t recommend enough.
