Here at theFashionSpot, we believe there is a small selection of models and actresses magazines simply do not endorse as cover stars enough – and Tilda Swinton is one of them. Much to our delight, Vogue Thailand welcomes Swinton as their March 2024 cover star, and invited the celebrated British actress to pose for photographer and visual artist Harit Srikhao. Swinton traveled to the Thai city of Chiang Mai for the occasion, and posed for Srikhao on location within a tranquil and lush forest garden throughout the artistic cover shoot. In the cover photograph, Swinton poses against a backdrop featuring a painted landscape and as selected by stylist Jerry Stafford, wears a look from Chanel’s Spring 2024 collection.

“US Vogue should stop ignoring her!” exclaimed ivano.
“This is cool,” rated forum member matheus_s.
Not everyone, however, was quick to praise Vogue Thailand’s seemingly best efforts. “Tilda is and looks specific (and is a great talent). So magazines always try something special, something over the top with her. Someone should do something simpler with her. For example, get her a quintessential British Harper’s Bazaar cover treatment,” wrote Srdjan.
“I’m sorry, but… I hate this,” chimed in blueorchid. “Tilda Swinton’s appeal is something to understand intellectually, but it all does nothing for me at the end of the day.”
“I love Tilda Swinton but this I hate. It’s so busy,” Ihhbl critiqued.
Also not feeling it was vogue28: “In all honesty, I’ve never understood the fascination with Tilda Swinton and genuinely couldn’t care less is she appears on a magazine cover again. Atrocious backdrop and amateur photography aside, Swinton looks lifeless and far beyond her years here. What an eyesore!”
