We’ll Be Copying Sofia Vergara’s Milky French Manicure All Fall

Have you tried a milky French manicure yet? We’d be surprised if you haven’t. The sheer wash of polish has taken over our feeds this year with co-signs across the board (think: Dakota Johnson, Bella Hadid, Jennifer Aniston, and so on). The latest celebrity to give the design her stamp of approval is Sofia Vergara, who put an elevated spin on the your-nails-but-better style.

Vergara’s soft French manicure is just another example of why we (and everyone else) can’t get enough of the simple, but effective design. The multi-hyphenate shared some pics from the America’s Got Talent set with her new manicure front and center. The no-frills design added another touch of elegance to her sophisticated glam and bright gown.

The best part about the manicure? There’s not much to mess with. If you aren’t familiar, the nails are shaped and primed before being topped with a light coat of polish which allows the whites of the nails to peek through, for a more natural-looking take on the French manicure. Depending on the manicurist, they’ll use neutral favorites like OPI’s Funny Bunny or Bubble Bath or combine the two to create a subtle shade. Vergara’s looks like the perfect pinky-white shade painted on a square shape, and if you look closely, you can see her natural nails underneath. She opted to style the nails with a massive diamond ring from David Webb. It looks like she also wore the mani to the Emmy Awards over the weekend, paired with a gorgeous red gown and plenty of diamonds.

For glam, the Modern Family alum stuck to her signature sultry makeup look. She lined her lips with a pretty berry shade which was paired with a nude-pink lipstick for a bold contrast. Her complexion was blushed and glowy, and she finished the look with bronzy eyeshadow and fluffy black lashes.
